Located in the historic centre just a few blocks from Merida's zocalo
(central park), "Los Cielos" Guest House is a convenient base from
which to launch your exploration of one of Mexico's most lovely
cities, as well as the Yucatan's nearby archaeological sites, haciendas,
beaches and wild life sanctuaries.

Within
an hour of your morning coffee on our flower-festooned patio, you
can be scaling a temple at Chichen Itza (Uxmal or Edzna) or watching
flamingos feed in the estuaries of Celestun wildlife refuge.
Catch up on your reading or take an afternoon siesta in a hammock
in the garden. "Los Cielos" is a quiet place to rest, relax,
write, read -- great for visiting scholars. The friendly owners
will help orient you in the kitchen, the city and the facinating
area around Merida. The house sleeps six in two bedrooms,
one bedroom with one double bed, and another with two double beds.
Each bedroom has its own attached bathroom. Rates: $35 for
